Directions, not promises.
Sailing routes depend on the condition of the boat, weather windows, seasonal patterns, crew energy, formalities and the simple fact that some places deserve more time than expected.

From the western Mediterranean towards Greece.
After the refit, we hope to base PRANIS around Marseille or the Gulf of Lion, provided a suitable berth is available. From around mid-2027, the first longer quests are intended to lead east through the Mediterranean.
A route must remain useful when conditions change.
The plan includes alternatives rather than pretending that one line on a map will survive contact with weather, maintenance and real life.
Boat before calendar
Safety, structure, rig, steering, propulsion and essential systems must be ready before a departure date matters.
Seasonal passage logic
Weather windows, sea state, shelter and realistic leg lengths determine when and where we move.
Rest and life ashore
Fuel, water, maintenance, dog access, family visits and recovery time remain part of the route calculation.
Waiting, changing port or shortening a leg is not failure.
The route matters, but the freedom to change it is part of why we chose this life.
